Techno, Nostalgia & Femmepower
What drives me as a DJ is to inspire other women to do the things they love and dare to share their work and ideas with others.
I want to play music that empower people to dance and have fun with each other on the dancefloor, despite genre.
Techno is for me something to play and have fun with. It’s an endless possibility of combining different rhythms and melodies to create the atmosphere that the room wants and needs. I play different kinds of techno and it all depends on the mood of the crowd!
Nostalgia & femmepower can be something that suits all. Different crowds crave different songs, and I love the challenge of finding out what resonates best with each and everyone. That feeling when YOUR song starts playing should exist on every dancefloor.

Saturday night at this festival the participants took a pause from playing scenarios and got together on my dancefloor instead. After some heavy and intense moments at the games they played during the day the happy, nostalgic music were a welcome brake. And I brought my glitter-stash!

For this nerdy and proud crowd (me being one of them) I wanted to play both tracks that’s easy to sing-along to and tracks from all our favorite nerdy TV-series. The challenge for me was to find tracks that where nerdy to as many in the crowd as possible, but they till had to be danceable. The best moment on the dancefloor were when i started playing the intro to “Sailor Moon” and made even the otherwise busy president of Sverok dance.
(The dress I’m wearing (also the best dress in my wardrobe) was made by The Artisarium.)

“Awesome DJing! It was the shortest but surely best club night, ever.”
This gig was at the end scen & the afterparty for the feminist larp Fight Like a Girl and were so, so special to me.
It felt very natural that all the tracks played should be produced or performed by females. The organizers wanted the music for the end scene to be hard but dancable. I quickly found Paula Temples music to be perfect for that occasion and created a set with the base in her songs. For the afterparty I were free to chose for myself. I continued with all-female artists and created a setlist of nostalgic 90ths music mixed with empowering, modern pop and hiphop.

The fist gig where I could decide entirely for myself what I wanted to play. This short setlist ended up in a empowering mix of strong, female artist from the pop and hiphop scene. I was the last DJ to play out of four and I had a blast ending the party!

Two times I’ve guested the new club Delirium and played hard, industrial techno to match with the EBM and synth that is played by the other DJs there. Here I learned the magic of how to turn an empty dancefloor to a crowded one by just finding the right song and getting what mood the crowd are in.

My first gig! At this larp I was hired to find and play music that would fit in a futuristic club environment. Me and the other DJ took turns mixing different tracks together to create the right atmosphere during the whole duration of the larp.
It was a really long gig, but also fun and relaxing to have so much time to explore and create!

During my first year at Kulturverkstan I got to organize a event about participatory democracy. Everybody interested in the subject were welcome to participate and we ended up with around 50 people from all around Göteborg. The night started out with a poem about democracy and equality written by Evelina Varas who is a spoken word artist. During the event we also had the amazing opportunity to have Yago Bermejo Abati, General Coordinator for G1000 Madrid, with us. He spoke about the work he is leading in Madrid, and the night ended with a mingle.

This fantasy themed larp was about gender roles and their inpact on social structures and normes. We used the elements wind, fire, earth and water to create four new genderstereotypes with atributes and typical personalities. The players got pre-written characters that stated witch of the element their role belonged to, and during the game we coded the clothes with different colours to help the players keep track of the different elements. During this project both me, my co-organizers and the players learned alot about genders and norms and how it affects us. I’m very proud of this larp, and recently a spinoff was made from it, so it’s not a dead project just yet!

My first project as a cultural projects manager! We wanted to make a larp for youths that was free, so that everybody hade a chanse to try it out. We brought experienced larpers and the youths together in a fantasy-themed setting with the goal that they would stay in the larp-community after discovering it. They did, and they’re still larping today. For this larp we got funded by Göteborgs Stad, but more importantly, we got 70 000 euro from Ung och Aktiv i Europa.

A big part about my understanding for peoples creative processes comes from my own experience of how it is to be working in that particular field. It helps me think outside of the box and to find different ways to connect with myself and with people around me. A dance performance about what-ifs and if-onlys.
Me and Kalle Lantz had the opportunity during this show to take the “Never Knock Choreography” to the next level and preform it on stage. (You can see the earlier version of the piece if you scroll down on this page!) Together with the choreographer Petronella Brink we added almost 2/3 as much as before. It turned out beautifully and fitted very well together with the rest of the acts during the show.

We shot the pilot for this webseries at a beautiful location in Mölndal. The idea behind the series is to weave in Swedish folksongs in to the series in different ways. Such a nice take on the postapocalyptic senario.

For this alternet reality game (ARG) we recorded a bunch of monologues and dialogues that followed the character Michaela. The game is about the impact on Michaelas life after she decides to report to the police that she was raped by one of the boys in her school and is meant for educational purpose. My first participation in an alternet reality game (ARG). The game was about a missing person named Omid and as a player your job were to find out what had happened to him. I played a worried student council representative that urged the player to find him.
